What Are CBDs?
Cannabinoids or CBDs are naturally occurring compounds found in cannabis and hemp.

What is vital to note is that is different from tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which is the psychoactive ingredient in cannabis, and in CBD products less than 0.01 per cent THC can be contained in it.
It can also sometimes be confused with hemp oil, which does not contain any CBDs in it at all.
How Does It Work?
CBD products work with the endocannabinoid system (ECS) in the human body, specifically the receptors that are responsible for transmitting signals to the brain.
As the ECS works as a body regulator, managing aspects of your body such as inflammation, sleep, mood, pain management and others, CBD interacts with these to help regulate these receptors, which is what helps give it a therapeutic effect.
This is why it can help with joint pain, and studies have shown a positive effect on people suffering from anxiety.
