Speaking to the Manchester Evening News recently, CBDology, a leading manufacturer of CBD products, offered some advice on how to get the most out of the substance.
First up is to make sure that you get the dose right. The advice is to begin with a low dose when you’re new to CBD oil and gradually build it up. Just two or three drops of CBD oil two to three times a day is enough for most people to start feeling the benefits.
As the organisation noted, although it might seem tempting to start on a higher dose, there is little benefit to this approach and it will only cost you more money as you’ll be going through your CBD oil more quickly than you need to.
If, after several days of consistent use, you find that this dose isn’t enough, you can always increase it gradually until you find a level that works for you.
When it comes to administering the CBD oil, it’s best to place the drops under your tongue and hold them there for as long as you can before swallowing.
This is because CBD oil is more easily absorbed into the bloodstream through the tissue under your tongue than it is in your stomach.
If you think you might want to use CBD oil to help you sleep, it’s worth noting that higher doses of CBD appear to work best. That’s according to an article from Medical News Today earlier this year, which noted that studies looking at how effective CBD is at helping with sleep issues found that higher doses were more effective.
